Residential sprinkler system extinguishes house dryer fire (Long Grove, IL)

Just before firefighters were going to release water on the fire, the home’s sprinkler system kicked on and extinguished the fire in about 15 seconds, according to the fire district. Everyone evacuated from the home and there were no injuries.
