One sprinkler controls hotel fire for firefighters (Dallas, TX)

When a fire broke out in the basement of a 10-story hotel, the hotel's sprinkler system kicked in. According to Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans, one sprinkler head activated and helped contain the blaze to the basement until firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
