Sprinkler system puts out stove fire at apartment building (Salem, NJ)

At around 5 p.m. Wednesday, a cooking fire caused the sprinkler system in the unit to activate.  The sprinkler immediately put out the fire on the stove, according to Salem Fire Department Chief Fred Ayars.
