Sprinklers minimize damage in fire at sushi restaurant (Sacramento, CA)
The fire broke out in the Hazel Avenue restaurant's HVAC system about 2:30 a.m., but was contained by the sprinkler system, said Michelle Eidam, a spokeswoman for the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. Eidam said the sprinkler system likely saved the building.

Fire sprinklers contain fire at clothing store (Ann Arbor, MI)
A downtown Ann Arbor clothing store was saved by the building's fire sprinkler system. The fire, which originated in a garbage can, was contained by the fire sprinklers . Fire damage was limited and neighboring businesses did not sustain any damage. No injuries were reported.
